It’s easter weekend, many car cleaning places have good discounts on, some 10-15% off, one has 50% off (but there is only a couple of things I ever get from them). I don’t really need anything but I’m running low on some stuff.
Yet I can’t bring myself to commit and buy the stuff.
I’m like that when it comes to buying stuff for me, I just can’t bring myself to justify getting something for me.
EDIT: well as you lot are crap at trying to stop me spending money. I ended up with these.

You should get the new car cleaning stuff, because cleaning people’s cars makes them (and you) happy!

I’ve got 6 litres of it and you only need 15ml per car.
Lol.

I still have enough to wash a couple of hundred car, seal two dozen, five full interior cleans.
The only thing I’m low on is tar remover.

But I don’t really need it, I just want it and it’s on sale so really if I got it now, I could save money rather than buying it later at full price or not as good discount.

Lol. I know your trying to wind me up, but for degreasing on a full clean, it has it’s place but over time will damage your paint and the paint will fade and oxidise much quicker.

Lol.
I’ve seen it all and heard it all.
I let it just wash over me now.
Call it a Grolsch Herfst Bok (or 2) and a pack of Beckers Frikandellen and we’re good. Actually, add some fritessaus and then we’re good.

I looked on Amazon and they can do six packs of 20, for £100. 120 sausages for £100. Erm, nope. Not going to happen.
I’ll just have to come back over to you and visit Albert Heijn or Super de Boer or something.

Well, I’ve noted it down anyway.
I’ve just gone from where I used to live on Maastraat in Veghel to the zentrum on Google Street View. It all seems so different. Even though there are no new buildings or anything.
I’m getting old and losing it I think.

I do, but I gave in to peer pressure and opened my wallet and dropped £70+ on some car stuff.

lol... i know the feeling mate.... hell.. towncentre where i live occasionally does this to me as it seems like everytime i go there half the shops i know and love are gone and replaced by hipster coffee shops and shoe stores... (that said.... the hipster coffee shop sells some seriously nice coffee and old timesy sweets.... so im ok with it)
things change and they stay the same :)

I prefer the older coffee shops. Starbucks can suck it.
There’s Watts Coffee Shop, been roasting since 1865.
There is a Cakes and Ale Cafe to the rear of a book shop to which is great.

Looks great.
Oh yes, the wafting smell of coffee beans roasting. Heaven.
You just don’t get that from modern coffee shops.
Man I’m old.
I always find it odd when shops in foreign countries do signs in English such as Coffee & Tasty, when it’s spelled Koffie in that country.
It’s one thing when it’s spelled totally different but this is very similar and almost certainly pronounced the same.

tbh... dutch is going the way of the dodo..... we speak dinglish now
its inevitable... more and more english is creeping into the language
i dont really mind... but it does feel like a loss
(its gonna take many more years mind..... but i see the writing on the wall)

That’s a shame, and a pain, do you know how long I practised my ‘g’s saying Veghel and Gemert over and over? Lol.
I’ll always remember that one drunk in a cafe in Veghel who asked over and over why I didn’t speak Dutch, I was annoyed and just responded, ‘because I don’t have a thought infection’, (sorry about that, not my best moment but he was really annoying).
To be honest it’s nice going abroad and knowing I can still communicate effectively but when I’m trying my hardest and wanting the practice only to be told, ‘no, it’s okay, I speak English’. It can be frustrating.
Just please let it be British, English and not American, English. Lol.

i do know how long you practiced lol missus is british it took her 3 years... and she still occasionally forgets (i mean... im british too.. but i was born here and raised bi lingual so i dont count)
and the being told its ok i speak english is a dutch thing.... its meant well.... make life easier for all parties n all... but it really does come across as shitting on their efforts...
also sadly its mostly american english.... the interwebs is too blame

Ruddy yanks, lol.
Ye’, unfortunately the speaking English thing is everywhere, I get it in Italy, France (not so much, there are a few of the older generation who speak it but don’t out of principle), Germany (even by a 70+ year old cafe owner in the tiny town of Freiburg in the south of Germany), Poland (except in the back waters, where we came across a family that cleaned cars and were confused by a RHD Audi A4, they wanted to know why the steering wheel was on the other side), Luxembourg, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, etc...
Some European countries even have bilingual road signs with English on.

What’s the IronX paint for?
Svend
> His Stigness
03/31/2018 at 14:34 | 0 |
The Iron-X Paste is a far more concentrated form of Iron-X for the car body and wheels.
You can use it on the car body applied with a damp/wet applicator or direct to heavy brake dust build up and then agitate with a wet brush after a couple of minutes and then wash off.
The also do it in a snow foam soap which is good for showing where you need to concentrate your efforts in the decon process.

Interesting. I’ve never needed anything more than IronX spray, or even a clay bar, so the thought a paste seems crazy.
