Respect and honor the Postal Service for who they truly are. Do not simply treat them as a mere delivery service.

There worst was a parcel from the U.K. to San Francisco, the Royal Mail did their part collected, on the next truck down to Heathrow, on a plane and in SF in less than two days, it then went from SF to SF regional, 5-10 miles away, but it then went to Oakland sorting office, back to SF sorting office, to Oakland sorting office, back to SF sorting office, back to Oakland sorting office where it went out for delivery at 8:10am, at 10:30pm still not delivered, four near five days later, an e-mail to reschedule delivery, three days after that, what was guaranteed to be five days was 13.
Parcel going from the U.K. to New York, again, day and a half later it was in New York sorting office, where it sat for at least five days, to go on it’s last 15 miles for delivery.
As with any service, there is an expectation of it to work, or why is it there, so it’s not a case of ‘if you can’t handle them at their worst, you don’t deserve to handle them at their best’, it’s a case of this is what we do, we will do it to the very best we can, occasionally some hurdles will happen but we shall handle them as promptly as we can to give the best service we can.
