A-Spec package for the MDX? Really? Equally pointless as the RX350 F-Sport packages and all that shit. Fix the damn TLX first!

Hmmm... I think there’s a lot of idiots in the world that want a tall, heavy, imposing SUV but they don’t want to drive a vehicle with the dynamic capabilities of a tall, heavy imposing SUV.
So Acura comes in and says “HEY, TIRED OF DRIVING BLOATED SUVS? WE FIXED OUR BLOATED SUV!”

Sounds like just a way to extract more monies from the folks who just walk into the showroom and say “gimme the most expensive version of that one”.
And these people absolutely DO exist. I live near Hinsdale IL. I’m surrounded by them.

Except they didn’t. This Body kit, bigger wheels and exclusive cabin is an appearance package not even a handling package. Why do these MDX A-spec buying morons have more money than me?

The world is cruel, man.
I also look at half of the shit my fellow chilangos buy and barf a little.
“Oh, you bought an A1 Luis? Oh you needed to have that German quality...right”

I think it looks pretty good.
Obviously I’d much rather see an honest to God, lightweight manual-equipped sports car... But that’s not going to happen

For a company whose tagline is “Precision Crafted Performance” they sure do love rolling out appearance packages. I guess the tagline only applies to the NSX.

“But the Type S is coming back soon!” Meanwhile, your dealers are telling those of us with TSXs to hold onto them as long as we possibly can.

Waiting for Acura’s great sedan comeback like...

It was all downhill after the NSX stopped production. They make some fantastic kinda fun commuters, but “precision crafted performance?”
You left that behind more than a decade ago, Acura :(

The F-Sport package on any Lexus is really only an appearance package. Some cars get slightly improved handling owing to the adjustable dampers, but there is zero increase in HP. Nothing wrong with offering an option to change how the vehicle looks.
It’s also no different than the S-Line offerings at Audi.

As corporate decisions go, this is probably a responsible priority. Get more $$ out your SUV product line for relatively less money.

Twice as many people buy Acura Trucks than cars. Nothing more to be said.

Yup, it’s like their car and SUV divisions are completely different companies.

Yep, one makes money and keeps their dealerships afloat, the other one.....
