From what I can tell, the classic car market in LA seemed to heavily favor Mercedes, BMW, Porsche, Jaguar, and Land Rover from the 60’s-90’s. I guess it’s for the same reason the classic car market around here favors Chevelles and pickups: because that’s what was popular in the area back when they were new.

Yeah, the west coast is heavily European and Teslas when it comes to cars

I recall my first solo adult trip to LA, I thought there’d be pristine fintails and similar cars slumbering everywhere. I didn’t see a single one. I recall seeing a lot of nice 123s and 126s though.
