I just don’t get subcompact Crossovers but I’ll admit I kind of like the quirky looks. But only in Lime Green or Orange. Seems to be much better alternative to the C-HR and the HR-V and bigger than the CX-3. Wish they put this kind of turbo (175HP, 195 “torques” AWD) in the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .

I like it. It’s fun, it’s different, and it sounds like it might be peppy and fun. Plus it looks like a Citroen Cactus

I like it because it reminds me of the 2017 i20 WRC. It helps a lot that the livery had very dark blue fenders.

Subcompact crossovers are good IF they’re roomy.
The HR-V and Crosstrek (and Impreza hatch) have nice roomy back seats in spite of their small overall size. Throw in the Soul too even though it’s fwd.
Others like the CX-3, C-HR, etc. are terribly cramped.

I was reading about this earlier today. Looks like a nice little package.
Now, that being said, why won’t (most) automakers allow us to order what we want? I know they do it because it’s cheaper for them, but that sucks. I want the 1.6 and the LED Head/Tail lights on the SE model. I don’t want or need a sunroof or 18" wheels. I’d rather have the smaller wheels and fixed roof. I never used a sunroof even when I had one.

I actually like the Kona! EXCEPT....no manual transmission option in Canada, so... :(
