Which is great, because I found out during my ride-along that my previous job let me go. No explanation given, but I think it’s because I was sick three days last week. I called out each morning, but a supervisor told me that she never heard anything about it. So someone failed three times to tell my supervisor that I was sick, and I lost my job because of it.

But back to the important thing: I have a new one already! That might be some sort of record for the shortest period of unemployment.

Yeah, definitely! It’s the same hourly rate, but good commission on top and plenty of tips.

Glad it all worked out. Also glad you get fired but they get to keep the lazy fuck up who got you fired.
