Yeah, I totally think so.

After a three year hiatus, mainly due to family commitments, I’m heading back to Kerrville, TX to attend the 2018 Hill Country Rallye! If you’re not familiar with the event, it’s only open to air-cooled Porsche models from 1949 to 1989. That includes the 550, 356, 911, 912 and 912E, 914, 959, and 930 from the afore-mentioned years

I’m not sure what to expect once I arrive on Thursday afternoon with the luftgekühlt convoy from Euless TX, but it’s like what I saw three years ago, my head just might implode.

Funny you should mention Mooney aircraft, as we’re going to check out a Porsche-powered plane on Saturday. My Porsche-pants will be spinning wildly.

There’s going to be around 8 different touring routes between Friday and Saturday so there’s one for every driving style.

I fall into the camp of the leisurely cruise.
