Six years of cop sweat, cop hair spray, cop hair gel...looks like a colony of bacteria that had fused into a mass of plastic.

Kinja'd!!!

Went out and got a Bissell, cleaned the driver’s seat then worked on the headrest. It took me all of three minutes to scrub it off.

Kinja'd!!!

All clean now. You may ignore the fact that it is sitting on a toilet. This was immediately after I had finished the cleaning, it was still damp.

Simple Green does wonders as well. And so does plain ol’ Dawn detergent.

That was disgusting. Now you need to do the entire rest of the car, before you catch something communicable.

That cleaned up really well.

I did the lower driver’s seat as well, and checked the rear seats and the passenger front seat, all looks clean. I will probably do a deep clean irrespective of appearance in the summer.

Did the rest of the driver’s seat lower half, since it had dirt encrusted into it. It’s very much better now. :)

Dawn was one half of my secret window washing formula for the past five years. It really is a miracle product

So many see a mark or stain on the seat and don’t do anything about it thinking it’ll take too much effort or cost too much in stuff to do it and ‘it’ll probably not come out so why bother’ and leave the mark to fester when sometimes the littlest effort will work wonders and taking a bit more time and care will make it look like new again.

That head rest came up beautifully.

I really should do a hard cleanup of the interior of my Accent...

Also, did your car have a cage in it?

Vinyl or cloth rear seat?

I’m trying to gauge whether you have some hidden goodies back there or not.

Cloth rear seat. It was never used to ferry suspects as far as I can tell, even though it has a rubber floor. There are no holes from the mounting of a partition, either.

Ah, just in case check in the bottom of the headliner between the rear window and it for contraband. Also the piece between the rear window and back window on the inside of that panel. People like to stuff shit in there as well.

I did. Found nothing. Like I said, they didn’t really use it to transport suspects. The Sheriff preferred to use Paddy Wagons for that purpose.
