My younger sister wants a Riley Elf. (My fault). For those unfamiliar, it’s a Mini with moar fancy and a “boot”. I just got her a diecast of one for her birthday.
On left. It’s a used 1:43 scale Vitesse, seen here with a <1:48 Matchbox Mini. There are very few models of the Elf in existence, so I was lucky to find even this one.
Here they are from behind:
You can see where the trunk adds on relative to the normal Mini. The Vitesse is Chinese, but has some very nice features. In particular, a decal dash (though this one is peeling), a chrome exhaust stub, and quite realistic tires and wheels.

Cool! I had no idea these existed.

There were two versions of FancyHood ExtendoButt Minis that were made, the Riley Elf and the Wolseley Hornet. IIRC neither outlived the sixties, because their parent marques got the ax. They were much nicer inside than the base Mini, as was the LHD Mini made by Innocenti in Italy.

Talk to tttyyymmmmm (however he spells it) about importing one through san Antonio pet of entry. Also check minimanias for sale section. Minis, clubmans, other things show up time to time at good prices.

I’m starring for ExtendoButts but would like to correct you to “Kardashiass”

It was the sixties. A simpler time, when advanced Kardashiass technologies had not developed and people had to craft ExtendoButts by hand. PEOPLE DIED.

On of the cool facts about the Lane is they have Minis from 4 countries I think. Italy(Innocente), GB(Austin and Morris), Chili(fiberglass mini), and Germany(MINI)
