A John Glenn memorial astronomy park will be opening in the Hocking Hills area of Ohio this summer.
Actually, it’s opening on the first day of summer. It looks like it’s just under two hours from me. There are so many places I love in the area I’ll talk the wife into going for a full day.
Now I just need someone with a convertible I can borrow. A nighttime drive with the top down in that area sounds fantastic.
Too bad the OPPO with a new cabrio in need of a shakedown cruise isn’t close enough to loan it out.

I’ll drive you, no convertible but I’ve got a moon roof. I also only live and hour from it. :)

I have a sunroof in my truck actually. I’m going to go regardless; the convertible just would’ve been a bonus. Where in the region are you?
I go to Hocking Hills every year and am excited for a new place to visit.

It was awesome to see our airport get named after him. Now it’s even cooler to see an astronomy park.
Pretty short distance for me as well and definitely want to go
