It came by FedEx yesterday and I activated it today. I like it. My wife just switched from iPhone to Pixel2+. She is happy, and likes it better.
Apple is about done in my house.

I got pissed at Apple’s music ownership etc. Switched many beers ago and haven’t looked back. My Moto is awesome with the mod supplemental battery. I thought the LG v series was tops with the camera and dac, but aptx hd from bluewave and a tg5 with wireless connectivity solves all that.
Phyrxes once again has a wagon!

Good luck and swapping your stuff over is easy, the imessage switch over is probably the most annoying.

I still have an S7 Edge which is going strong. The battery in this thing was a big part of why I wanted this phone and its been excellent, although the screen has developed an issue recently.
I think the only downside with Galaxy phones is that Android system updates can take a while. What I loved about my Nexus 5 phone was that it came with the stock Android OS and you got updates on release instead of months (or over a year) later.
Do you find the curved screen edges useful? Apart from some important shortcuts and a data usage meter it’s not something that I find is important, although I do like appearance of the curved screen.

Hardly moss the edge shortcuts since using the pixel launcher on my s7. S9 nonplus felt best in my hand of the two and the edge is thicker so you dont notice the sides ending in a point as much.

What do you find makes Pixel Launcher so nice to use? I actually don’t know anything about it, but from pictures the difference in functionality isn’t immediately obvious.

I’ve had it since my Z2. It’s overall simpler to use on the face, less home pages full of bloat, easy access to assistant and cards. (mostly the google integration)
I’d probably play with Nova launcher at some point down the road but I have no complaints about the pixel launcher.
