Just found this out on mine accidentally tonight haha. AWESOME
To be clear. Cargo cover is retractable. If you have it deployed all the way back, when you open the top glass, there is a electrically actuated latch that lets it slide it up in a channel so you can get to your stuff.

But does it slide back on its own? Looked like he was having to close it manually.

derp. yeah there is an x missing from that model number...it is xdrive. you are correct.
