I’ve always liked this logo design. The first time I saw it was in the late ‘90s on a bumper sticker on the back of a purple Beretta Z26. I still listen to that radio station today, whenever I’m back in the area (
though, there logo has since changed
).
Looking that the old logo again makes me want to track down one for my toolbox.
Let’s see your favorite vintage sticker designs!

As someone who grew up in the LV, I can confirm that the bumper of a beretta is the perfect place for an old WZZO sticker.

Me too. I grew up just outside of Allentown.

This is what I listened to in the 70's and 80's- WLUP just shut down a week or so ago, RIP the home of Disco Demolition.

A friend found some 90s-vintage stickers from the concert venue where we used to work. I kind of want to find a bunch of 90s-era stickers and plaster them all over the rear window of the Cherokee.

Well, he grew up in KMET’s broadcast area during the early to mid ‘80s before it turned into a smooth jazz station, as did I, so I think we know where he got the name...

I’ve always wanted to get one of the vintage stickers for my local rock station for my truck. Currently I am rocking a somewhat rare version of their standard square bumper sticker. It’s a stars and stripes version that they started giving out just after 9/11 when the country was going through that huge wave of patriotism. They only made them for a year or so before going back to the standard black stickers which have otherwise been unchanged for like 20 years.
And this is the one I have been trying to find... Although I would almost feel bad letting it bake in the sun on my truck if I ever did manage to scare one up.

I figured that probably was not a coincidence. Either way, I love that name - I’m old enough to remember what that name was in response to, as well.

Also, I find KMET amusing because I know a guy with the last name Kmet.

Definitely the best eras of graphic design in my opinion. The Ranger Sport may be the best.

Bman76 cleaned up the ZZO sticker, and I’m looking into getting one made now. I’ll let you know how it goes.
I love that sticker, BTW.

I ended up finding a place online MakeStickers.com. It actually worked out pretty well. I got one made small enough to fit in my toolbox, but they will print any size. I paid ~$12 for a full 8.5X11 sheet of stickers, though I had to cut them out myself.
These are printed vinyl, which they claim to last 3-5 years outdoors. They feel like they are decent quality. Time will tell how they hold up, but I’m pretty happy.

Wow, the sticker turned out great! I will definitely have to get some of my station stickers made too. Thanks for the update on this.
