I saw Tyler Hoover at a used car lot in Wichita yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.
He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”
I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my browsing, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to sign my check up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen hoopties in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the hoopties and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each hooptie and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

The only famous people I would do more than say hi to would be Taylor Swift and Chris Harris. If it was Taylor Swift I would do the whole picture thing like every other fan because I know I wouldn’t be able to have a conversation with her anyways. If I met Chris Harris I would ask him about his 2CV and try to strike up a conversation, because that dude is awesome, I have spent hours watching his videos before.

This is why I dont like, watch or follow him anymore. I have met and hung out with Freddy too, but hes sometimes rough around the edges.

Its just boring to me. Im also super jaded about this stuff now as I am working on my media empire slowly. Im just taking note of where people go wrong. The only person I keep up on is Cleetus because hes very humble and works hard to get where hes going. He also treats and interacts with fans so incredibly well. The person you meet is the person you see in the videos.

Doug too, for that matter. Same with Mike Musto. It was rather weird hearing Hoovie got a reality tv show. If I ever met him, I would probably just shake his hand and be polite but not conversational.

I mean, just that video of giving the beemer to his girlfriend was cringeworthy enough. No need to make it worse for himself.
