..., but that shouldn’t and can’t dictate to the rest of the country what these levels are going to be.” said the clown appointed by another clown to run the EPA.
Really?
Leading by example bitch, leading by example.

I know he’s joking, but his jokes trigger people that say stupid bullshit without joking about it.
However, the only thing that keeps me from wanting to move to California is that you crazy people use the imperial system of measurements.

Funny, because 16 states in the US that effectively make up the majority of the population of the US have adopted CARB standards.

So I never actually looked up what this converts to and it’s another joke on how crappy of gas mileage american cars get. Here’s the conversion
1 rod = 16.5 ft
1 hogshead = 54 gallons
40 rods/hogshead is 660 ft/54 gallons
or 0.0023 mpg

You know, I’d love to live in California.
...if it weren’t for the insane housing prices, high taxes, and open hostility to my primary hobbbies. I think I have one vehicle that would stand a chance at passing a CARB Stasi inspection

There’s a fantastic car culture in California. No hostility, just an aversion to cars putting out too much dirt.
But, come and enjoy the car culture, it’s amazing how diverse, open and specialized it is.

I like making sleepers, and do not do visual mods. If I can’t even do something as simple as a bolt on turbo kit, that affects my ability to enjoy the hobby.
I spend a lot of time down there however (I’m in Oregon fwiw), and your bike (not pedals) culture is fantastic

I have friends whose 240Zs push 500hp, and they’re street legal in California, registered and all.. (?!)
