I’m tired of this perception and I’m tired of people taking umbrage at things which aren’t personal. People have lost the ability to analyze criticism, nor properly express it.

To list a flaw or a problem with an object or concept does not mean you fucking hate it. It implies dissatisfaction, but it does not compute that you hate everything about it or that it needs urgent repair. I am also sick of having to compensate for this shitty mindset with “granted, there are lots of good things of the subject which I am criticizing” fallbacks to ensure ‘impartiality.’

Obviously haterade for haterade’s sake is pretty useless, but JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE A QUIBBLE WITH SOMETHING DOESN’T MEAN YOU HATE IT, AND NOBODY ELSE NEEDS TO JUMP IN AND THROW SHADE AT THE CRITIC FOR ESPOUSING IT.

I’m sick of the “oh, like you’re something special” ad hominem reaction, and I’m sick of the attitude that just because you like something it’s perfect.

A spade is a spade. To those with this uncriticizable victim complex: Do yourself a favor and stop lying to yourself. Your emotional immaturity and self esteem delusions are your issues, not my problem nor anyone else’s.
