Discs rust very quickly if not in use. It’s not as dramatic as some may think.

Mine rust within 15 minutes of a wash.
What you’re not seeing here is these are the least rusty parts of the car.

I work on cars like these and trust me engineers dont care at all about them. They beat them up and mutilate them to test whatever system they need to test then they get crashed and crushed.
