I was just thinking about all the silly ass factoids I know and I figured other people have fun things to share that doesn’t have to follow the format of “What crazy thing do you know about cars?” or some such.
Post any interesting tidbit, mundane or no. I’ll start.
“ultracrepidarian” means ‘noting or pertaining to a person who criticizes, judges, or gives adviceoutside the area of his or her expertise’
Which is a word that most people don’t know but nearly everyone knows someone who is one.

A woodchuck would chuck as much wood as a woodchuck could, if a woodchuck could chuck wood.

basic pineapple shirt
and
pin
for my backpack. I might get the Gus’ Nicknames Mug.

A parsec is a unit of length. Since Han Solo did the Kessel Run in 12 parsacs, it is still a brag but not of a speed run but of his skills as a navigator. Considering you have to plot routes through space that don’t run into things like planets and stars. Also why the heck are space ship collisions in hyper space not a thing?

My guess is that 4D interactions in hyperspace are governed by similar types of rules as attempting to hit a flat piece of paper on the ground with a ninja star.
