This episode of Top Gear is right up there with the best episodes in the series’ history. Top Gear isn’t just better than the very mediocre Grand Tour right now, its right up there with the best its ever been in its history.

Grand Tour Season 2 is so much better than season 1, which was meh. I am very hopeful for Season 3. Top Gear was getting to Clarkson-May-Hammond level chemistry only towards end of season 24 and now in season 25.

I never watched friends, missed that reference; apart from me missing that, it was fantastic. My favorite part was where they didn’t have a guest. My second favorite part was the rest of the show.

Also Rory has really grown on me, didn’t like him last season, but for some reason I’ve changed my mind this season.

I’ve enjoyed his stuff this season, last season not so much. I thought he was too overbearing and too disingenuously excited, as if he were embellishing it too much. This season, he seems a little more subdued; it’s also possible they’ve had 3 seasons to work out how to work with each and tailor each film to fit the presenters strong suits. Don’t know what it is, but I’m really enjoying Top Gear.

Yeah, no guest was great. It’s rare that I liked the guest segment (Jeff Goldblum, for example, was a fantastic guest, and whenever they would have a party for a new car, those segments were great).

Just finished watching the episode. And yes, the 962 was glorious. The only possible way to top that would have been driving a 787b on the road (not sure there are any of those in private hands).

Agreed. I love Clarkson, May and Hammond, but Grand Tour has not been very good this or last season with a few rare episodes and skits.

The new Top Gear, with Matt, Harris and Reid has become better to watch, good chemistry and just more energy.
