Going for the wax on stuck bolts trick. What could possibly go wrong?

Will the wax creep upward?

No idea. The word I read was “wicked” so I will assume so. I can get to 2/3 the bolts from the top anyway, it’s the back ones I am concerned with.

I have had zero success with any of the various spray solutions so at this point it doesn’t matter if it works or not. going to just use every chemical I have.

Are you using an impact gun or a ratchet?

haven’t decided. Ill try to use an impact but that requires me to rely on my dad’s tools and that has it’s own set of problems.

Impact set on kill will be your best bet

set on kill? I’ve never used one before.

Set on highest power.

Some may pipe in and disagree, but from my experience the initial “hit” of the impact gun is important, and any slow twisting can screw you over. JMO of course.

Oh ok. Yeah there is differing opinions on whether or not this helps, but I figured I am screwed anyway, I am expecting these to snap no matter what I do. So it realistically can’t hurt. Gonna keep spraying my bolts the next two weeks, hit it with a torch a couple of times, hit it with the wax and give it a go.
