Damnit, I’m hungry again.

I was thinking more along the lines of doing it for week days (M-Thu) and weekends (F-Sun). Votes could be Mondays and Fridays for the immediately preceding period.
I’d cut submissions off some amount of time before the vote (maybe just do it by date for these longer periods). With daily, I’d think a cutoff an hour or two before the vote and anything after the cutoff could be nominated for the next one.
I still think daily is too often for us.

I’ll just do it from Mon-Fri at 7:00 PM est and take the weekends off because that’s how FP does it, and it’s the easiest for me to do because it fits right in my daily schedule. Thanks for the idea though!

Well, currently we have about a 4:1 shitpost:quality ratio and about a 10:1 quality:COTD thread ratio. That seems a bit spammy. There just aren’t that many of us.

There’s only 2 posts related to it each day.... And shitposts are 24/7 because lol...but still, this is normal for there to be a COTD every day, candidates post at 12:00 and the winner at 7:00.... That’s not bad at all.
