Flush with my recent success !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , I decided to find one for my dad. First, a little background. Dad is a pretty Jalop guy, when you think about it. I mean, his first car was an old Nash that he bought for, I think, $50. Then, he found one with a working engine in a junk yard and bought that and swapped the engine in. He now has an RX-8, into which he recently put a new engine as well (but not for $50; you know what I mean). But, his favorite car of all time was his blue ‘92 Toronado Trofeo. He loved that car and kept it running well beyond the time it had stopped being safe.

Well, living in the Midwest at the top of a hill means he doesn’t drive his RWD sports car all that much in winter. He borrows Mom’s AWD Acura lots of the time. So, he’s been thinking on and off about another car. He just can’t seem to get excited about anything. He likes Mercedes, always has, and I pointed him to the new C class, but he hasn’t gone to see one. He wants a luxury-ish or GT-ish coupe. I think he’s still waiting for something like his lost love, but nostalgia like that is a tough standard to meet.

This is perfect for him. So clean, low miles, all the options he had, and he even likes red. The only downside for him will be the spoiler. But hey, he has tools. I wish I had the money to give it to him.
