It was even more of a trainwreck than I thought.
You can tell it was supposed to be a longer series but the were like, “dude this is a crime scene...we can’t show this to people,” and cut to the end of the season.
Testing at Barcelona...good Lord. Barcelona had to have the Honda engineers like...

When I saw a Honda engineer with “Honda, the power of dreams” I laughed so fricking hard. The irony was too much.

Man...it was so tough to watch. Alonso, “wow...this engine is a piece of [bleep].”
The reporters, “jeez you could hear their engine coming...it sounded like a bunch of spanners in a blender.”

Yeah that was so bad.
Also the first engine start scene was painful. All those people standing around and waiting, and nothing. And even once it started people weren’t ecstatic. They were probably thinking, “Fuck, it’s already not working and we haven’t even gotten it on the track yet. Yay.”
