Yes, that IS a 760 Li. And a Cobalt.

At that tiny, green ranch with the one car garage...

Some people have them.

I finally remembered to have my phone out and ready to take a picture when I drove by this time. The BMW doesn’t fit in the garage so it stays outside... The Cobalt is sometimes in the garage... In either case the house and 2nd car are almost certainly worth less combined than the private-land-jet.

Honestly, having a garage was my number one shopping requirement when looking for a place to live.

I dunno, pre-facelift E66 depreciation is so thorough by this point that it and the Cobalt probably have a similar book value.

It’s not unusually to see a high-end luxury barge, usually an older one, parked in front of a mobile home in Louisiana. It’s more common to see an expensive truck and a boat to go with it.

There could be all kinds of interesting stories here.

Maybe the house belongs to the Cobalt owner and the BMW driver is cheating on their spouse with them?

Maybe the house belongs to the Cobalt owner and the BMW belongs to the wealthy parents who come by occasionally to visit?

Maybe the Cobalt is the normal everyday vehicle and the BMW is for his job duties, Jason Statham style in the Transporter?

Yeah, I looked up used values after making this post... It’s probably worth more than the Cobalt (it’s clean, and it moves regularly, so it’s not busted) but the ~98% depreciation is incredible...

Old Cadillacs are a staple of the trailer park set, no mater where they are. Trucks and side-by-sides are the other go-to here in Vermont, not so much with the boats.
