Got to do my first ever RWD snonuts. Still a bit of a learning curve, but I looove that they actually let you disable all the acronyms with the touch of a button.

And no, the Twingo didn’t play as well. Belongs to a co-worker, proverbial little old lady.

Or handbrake drifts. These were my specialty until I got my first RWD car.

I concur (although this was awd).

Now you need a small stick to keep in the trunk, such that it fits just between the inside of your wheel and the brake rotor or shield, so you can clean out the snow/ice when it gets stuck in there and causes massively unbalanced wheels. Hardwood is best, I use oak myself.

That’s what we’ve always called them.

If its your first time remember to clean your wheels out before getting on the highway. Snow will throw off the balance and it can vibrate like crazy.

The twingo might be RWD, but from what i read you can’t disable the traction/stability stuff properly, so no fun :(

Yeah, BvdV-theDutchEngineer already schooled me on that. A shame though, as the rear engine, RWD setup would be perfect. I can understand that they don’t want to make front page news with inexperienced young drivers and little old ladies who just want to go to the shops meeting an early/somewhat before expiration date demise, as this is basically their core demographic. But come on, at least let us pull a fuse or so.
