From what I’ve heard from my friend, the starter is really and truly dead this time, as are the front brakes. As for the damage to the doors, and mirror, and rear wiper, I have no idea.

I don’t think that’s how leaf springs and torsion bars work

Blazers/Jimmies have never treated my family well. Their transfer cases have always malfunctioned (denying 4 low), they eat front end components, and it’s late 90s/early 2000s GM electronics quality, meaning half the time your gauges aren’t going to work.

When it was mine, that one treated me well in the sense that it always started, and always got me home. But yeah, 4Lo didn’t always work (though when it did, it made it up some gnarly terrain that I didn’t expect it to go up), the gas gauge never worked, the front end was loose as hell, even though it was within factory spec, and the interior rattles were impressive. Best worst truck I’ve ever had.
