USB 3 cables, so I have some cables with the traditional USB connector on one end and the C-style on the other end. I bought from a quality brand (Anker). But they no-worky on my existing USB chargers. Would anyone happen to know why? Do I need newer USB chargers?

I wouldn’t think you’d need new ones. I have a cable like the one you’ve described that came with my Pixel XL plugged into a 3-year-old Samsung wall adapter and it works fine. I’ve also used it in a 12V car adapter with no problems.

yeah I tried my cables on 3 different chargers, no bueno. The cable does work when connected to my desktop at work, but that’s it so far.
