E46 330i brake calipers and rotor to go on the E36, also the 17" wheels. Now I have to figure out how to make the parking brake work.

Maybe one of those hydraulic e-brakes the drifters use? That could prove effective, and fun.

I’ve seen examples that modify the e46 parking brake shoes to inreract with e36 brake cable setup.

Yeah, that sounds more cost effective. :)

Nice! I had those wheels on my E46 wagon that had the “sport package” which on an AWD wagon was basically the wheels, steering wheel, and seats. But oooh those sport seats.

I’m not familiar with BMWs, so I have no frame of reference here. I’m guessing that these are bigger. Any other advantages, like more pistons per caliper?

Yes, they’re bigger, and the rear rotors are vented. The US versions of the e36 328i have solid rear rotors. I’ve had those mighty hot before. All of these have a single piston per caliper.

These have some dings and scrapes, but look to be straight and hold air. 2 of the tires are new. 2 have decent life left.

Ooh nice. Yeah my Mustang’s upgrade to Cobra brakes did away with the solid rear rotors, too.
