I like this view the best because garage (sorry no light fixturelopnik)
We went and looked at it this morning and while it failed on a couple of our criteria:
4 Bedroom (only has 3 on the small side, but basement is finished/has office and large workshop area)
2 Bathroom (has 1 full and a large 1/2 but we could add another in the basement)
It met a bunch of others:
big kitchen
fireplace
2 (or more) car garage
nice yard (backs up to a wooded stream, already fenced and has a nice firepit & landscaping but the deck needs to be finished)
quiet neighborhood (its on a dead end street in a small village, BUT is across the road from some dumpy looking apartments/condos)
We liked it, and are going back tonight with the kids to see what they think, and see how rowdy the ‘hood is after dark.
But I think this is the one. The price and location is right, and my Trans Am will fit nicely in the garage.

Is the roof stained? How old is it? Why is there a window above the porch?
Looks nice. Is the garage as deep as the back of the house?

No, just wet. It has black shingles. 1970. No clue. Probably for the tiny people living in the attic. I’ll check tonight.
No, it’s not that deep. The living room, 1/2 bath, and basement access is behind it.

Needs more garage (sounds nice otherwise though)

Anything is better than my narrow one (albeit DEEP) car garage that I have now.

Just curious, how much would that go for in your area?

Low to mid 200's
Taxes around $3k a year, depending on city/town/village/etc.

If people move out of Seattle, then will housing prices drop? Prices rise because a lot of people want to live there (you get to be with Macklemore, I understand), but I think the best solution is moving stuff OUT of Seattle.
