My favorite shift was 3 to 11, even on Friday nights. You get to sleep in. You still have enough time to get personal stuff done during the day. And you get to avoid most of the BS that happens in the evenings. It’s not so good once you have your own family, but it was always great when I was younger.

The worst was 11 pm to 7 am graveyard shift.

My wife works 7pm to 7am as a Nurse. Luckily only 3-4x a week.

Health care workers just get screwed all the time. The hours were one of the reasons I decided not to go to med school.

Luckily she gets compensated pretty well for the night shifts but it still does suck. I ended up in account which is the same sucky hours problem though
