This is 2 gallons.

4L is about 1 gallon, so it’s easy to compute, as long as they don’t do something stupid like put their displacement in cubic inches.

Depends on whose gallon you’re discussing, but close enough. A SAE gallon is 3.78L and an imperial gallon is 4.54L. Unless you’re looking at a US Dry Gallon, which is 4.40L.
We won’t delve into Winchester gallons, corn gallons,Irish Gallons, or Old English Ale Gallons.

I mean, yeah, 4 quarts is a gallons and a liter’s about a quart.
The RS 4.0 is a different beast, though. =)

I had no idea “our” gallon and theirs were so different. So I just need to find a place that will sell to me in imperial gallons and a buyer who will take it from me in SAE at the same price, amirite?

That’s how European cars achieve super high MPG ratings. That, and a more lackadaisical drive cycle.

I also (many years ago) learned how to convert gallons to liters from bathroom fixtures.

But the Porsche is only a 3.8 or something. A proper gallon is 4.545 litres. Way to go.
