EDIT: fuck Kinja I’m not fixing this post
Oh baby I like it. I believe this is the 1JZ-GTE.
Or maybe this? The 1UZ-FE, I believe.
I need more JDM in my life.

But when you leave it with two photos, it is doing this to me:

I didn’t know that, I just like their site since they have a good amount of JDM inventory. I don’t really know anything about JDM dealers in Canada, let alone in Ontario.

Brave auto is probably the best;

Forums for JDM;

This is relevant to my interests. I dream-shop Mitsubishi Delicas and recognized the dealer in the pictures right away.
Are they really that bad, or just annoying with their excessive posting?

They’re not good, let’s just leave it at that..
Research is key if you are buying jdm, I’ve heard multiple guys say that place refuses to show you the inspection sheets on their cars.
If you really want a Delica there are a few places to look;
Rising Sun Auto.
http://www.rs-import.ca/index.php
Silk Road Autos.
From discussions with people who have imported I’ve heard to add $1000 (diy) to $3000 (using importer) to the auction price to get it landed and insured in Vancouver.
Buying them off of Kijiji isn’t the answer either, from the ones I’ve seen they are either bagged or way overpriced.

I saw one of these the other day! It was dark and I didn’t notice until it passed me. But those taillights at night are absolutely unmistakable

Cool thanks. I’m not seriously shopping, but this is helpful. I have a 4Runner and spend my time online shopping for lift kits, Land Rover LR3s, and Delicas... I might not know where I’m headed with this hobby!

There are a ton of Surfs fs;ran when parked right now, they get here and then overheat the 2lt/ 2lte and then sit.. Prados too.
Sad because they would be awesome as a project/trail rigs if they were working and properly priced under $5k.

Is overheating a common problem with those engines, or are they being abused?
And I agree that the prices for these machines is way out of line for what they are.

2lt overheat because people push them to do highway stuff, heads warp if you’re not careful or if you don’t monitor temps. Best solution is a 3l head.
You still see a lot of early 90s Cruisers coming over because newer than that the prices really don’t make sense to import;
$25000Cad for a 91 PZJ77.. worth it but hard to spend that kind of money on a jdm rig.

That’s a lot of money for a 27 yo vehicle. For that kind of cash I could get a < 10 yo LR3, mods, and years of maintenance. I know it’s not the same thing, but still...
