In fact, this may be the first one I’ve owned as an adult. But I like the simple design and the price was right ($7.88 at Wally World). I’ve also been without a watch for a while as the wood one I was wearing on fire day is still lost in the move somewhere.

Not bad! I have the same two Timex Ironman Triathalons I’ve had since I was in Grade 6 and 9 (respectively)! In total, they’ve gone through maybe 4 batteries and many straps and look a little worse for wear, but after almost 20 years of service with no problems, I’m very attached to them. :)

My dad used to wear these. He had one as long as I could remember as a kid, when it finally broke he went and got another one. I think he only stopped wearing them because the numbers got hard to see for his old eyes.

I’ve always found them quite easy to read at a glance...then again, I’m not old yet, so! :P

That being said, they have reflective faces, so you can read them just fine in bright daylight and they have ‘Indiglo’ at night because ‘90s. :P

The best of digital and mechanical. And a steal at around what I would assume to be $60,000 when it comes to market.
