I guess I’m just hardwired to look for things like this. I’ve been getting a lot of phishing emails lately, and the sender’s email address is always from some ridiculous domain outside the US.

There’s also bots going around Twitter impersonating various people to scam the unwary out of cryptocurrencies.

What is Ethereum? Some sort of E cash? I remember a college professor way back in the mid-80s telling us about a guy who took out an ad in the paper that said, “Now is your last chance to send $5 to this address!” He made a bunch of money, and never got in trouble because he never promised anything for the money.
