This happens so often it’s not even funny. I’ve seen vacuum lines getting disconnected and have heard of people dumping stuff in the oil to make them smoke heavy.

If I was the seller of the car at an auction and someone did this, there might be an assault charge on my record. I’d bet a jury would acquit too.
