I got a call from my partner earlier. He was supposed to have the next 6 days off. Instead, he doesn’t get any of them off because his punkass assistant manager decided to quit via text message with no warning. Retail sucks ass.
I’m so pissed off for him. It’s been so hard for him to get staff because no one is applying for the open jobs and the few that do make it through end up being flaky unreliable self-centered asses.
Time to crack open a Spaten Oktoberfest (YES I KNOW IT’S FEBRUARY SHUT UP).
I hope everyone else is having a good Valentine’s day. Mustang Mach 1 for your time.

Man, that sucks. Hopefully your partner is able to get a day off eventually & you two didn’t have any special plans made those days.
My girlfriend’s been dealing with the same at her job, it’s crazy how little some people care about holding jobs.

Work has been rough for me too. Getting pressure from corporate, as well as people not showing up. Also I found out today that a girl I met recently, the first one I’ve been interested in in six months, has been stealing from us. So that’s lovely.

Yeah... my wife is on kind of the other side - had the “opportunity” to fire a principle today who was torching relationships with primary clients today. Legal action likely starts tomorrow... dude, you could have had triple digits for the next 20 years if you could have just gotten over yourself - now we are going to sue you into the f*#!ing ground and you will hurt.

Thanks. Unfortunately we did have plans. Saturday is our 10th anniversary. But I think he’ll be able to get off in time for our afternoon reservation. We had other stuff we were going to do though, and I have a 3-day weekend because of President’s Day. It just sucks for him to have to keep putting off plans and time off because all these employees are terrible.

That sucks, sorry to hear that. I feel super guilty too, because I managed to find another job the second I started looking. Meanwhile, he’s been looking for the past year and can’t get in anywhere.
