They are putting in the new unit, and they gave me my refund. I think new tires for the Sunchaser are in order this weekend, and I am to treat myself to sushi for lunch. I may try to get a shocks/struts estimate too.
What do you think?

So you got a full refund and a new fridge basically free?

Holy shit I looked on rockauto cause I’m bored 17$/ea for rear shocks! 37/ea for front struts. For KYB Gr2 which are solid shocks. The strut mounts are actually more expensive than the struts.
Going to do springs too?

Did you go with a subzero/wolf fridge?

I have Tokico on the Z, mainly because those combined with the Eibach lowering springs is a time tested success. So far I love them.

Never heard of that brand. I’m trying to decided between eibach or h&r springs on my e30 when I put bilsteins on it. The guy I got it from recently put kybs so I’m in no hurry. Apparently the eibachs were produced with the bilsteins in mind, but pretty much everyone who uses their e30 on the street runs the h&r.

Well no reason you would hear of Tokico if you gave a Geeeerman car, mainly for Japanese sports cars. I am happy with Eibachs and they do quite well. I have a Mercedes and the Bilsteins are fine for me. Eibach makes very good springs in my experience.
