Thanks to Doug I learned that Chevrolet sold more SSRs in the United States and Canada than Suzuki sold Kizashis in the United States, Canada, and Europe Combined, 24, 112 vs 20,312.

The Kizashi is a decent looking car. It’s too bad the AWD version can’t be had with a stick in the u.s.

I’d rather have the kizashi

Agreed. I’d still buy a 6 speed FWD Kizashi if I had 7k. The AWD models seem over 50% of what they sold.

Agreed.

Never heard of a Suzuki Kizashi
(clicks on link for sales in Europe, finds 1 (one) in 2017)
That would be why.

Second useless fact: that first photo was taken right next to the Phoenix Zoo.

The Kizashi was a nice car saddled with no brand recognition and a dying (at least in the U.S.) parent company. I’ve always liked them, myself. But, I’d imagine finding parts for them now is difficult.
My wife’s grandpa used to have an SSR. It was so weird.

Suzuki has to guarantee parts availability through January of 2023 due to U.S. federal requirements.

That car was probably built in 2013 or 2014 too.
