Conceptually, basically the same thing Ford did with the Raptor, but on a small scale. Considering that the CUV market (called “cute ute” at the time) was basically the CRV and RAV, this was a novel concept. Totally impractical. Much smaller than my contemporaneous GTI. Just taller.
