so 130 crashed lets say 2 cars per crash . if there are 1000 cars for each crashed car and each car averages 50 miles in that 24 hours thats

130*2*1000*50=13million miles driven.

the PD has a bit more driving to do.

Things got pretty ugly in Iowa during that storm. Pile-ups are extremely rare there, even in the worst conditions. I guess traffic on the Interstates is increasing rapidly and, while the average driver has always been pretty bad, I think truck drivers are less skilled, less experienced, and less cautious than they have been.

I’m sure the DMPD does plenty of crashing in perfect conditions.

So? I dont use snow tires here in MI where we get slammed with lake effect snow. Ive never been in a winter accident. Been hit a few times tho
