party bus leaves at 6 a.m. for the Eagles parade. It’s going to be cold, crowded and crazy. I don’t like crowds or parades, but history I must take part in. Estimation for attendance is 3+ million...the Phillies parade in 08 was around 2 million and it was a good time. It’s a cool setting with all happy people sharing in something special. It’s hard to explain what our sports teams mean to us in Philly to outsiders.
If your out by the art museum look me up...I’ll be the guy wearing green!

I thought about going, but it seems like SEPTA and AMTRAK are already packed to the gills. Enjoy your free beer!

Trains getting in town are going to be an issue just like the Phils in 08. That’s why we hopped on a charter bus. On the bridge now and it’s slow but stay. Friend is already in town and said closet to the Ben Franklin parkway it starts getting crazy.

Enjoy it! I drove down to South Philly last night and stayed with my sister. We’re only about 7 blocks off of the parade route. It’s going to be nuts.

it was awesome! We had a great time...just a special feeling that spanned over every single person there. I still have a sliver of disbelief over all of this! I had a smile for most of the day...and learned that Travis Kelce is one intense dude!
I don’t know the attendance numbers yet but assume at least 2 million. All those people and I didn’t see one altercation, not one person even trying to be a dick. I’m sure there was one or two somewhere...but overall everyone was so happy they could only enjoy themselves. I didn’t see any coverage on Yahoo’s front page when we got home (usually do for victory parades) and I’m guessing because it didn’t fit the national narrative about us heathen Philly fans.

I think you mean Jason Kelce. Travis is his brother that plays in KC.
It was an amazing day. I saw the trophy in person, I celebrated with a few million people, and I was able to share it with my family.
People around me were tossing beers to the players on the buses. It was fantastic.

I do that all the time because Travis is so fantasy football relevant....
My only regret is hanging at the art museum, I think the parade route would have offered more fun. Guess I know for next time since Doug told me get used to it!!
