Thank you Flathead County plow. I was really thinking that my back was feeling good and I needed to do a couple hours of hard shovel work. That’s about two feet deep by about 8-foot wide snow, ice and dirt. Lovely.

And this is what needs to pass over the driveway entrance. Not gonna happen.

Why don’t you have an early Ford to have an engine that matches where you live?

How about a few well placed sheets of 3/4” plywood to help you over? I never get that much snow but always wanted to try that.

Backup: black powder or quarter sticks. Light fuse and get away.

Because I spend my spare monies on skis and mountain bikes, and rust inhibiting primer for my Mazda.

Actually we do have an old truck but it’s laid up at the moment with a battery drain that makes it a real pain in the ass to drive frequently. I’m seriously considering a newer truck like the GMC Canyon/Chevy colorado for my next car...

The break over angle on a 2006 Mazda 3 is pretty bad.

That’s how I work on my Delts.

That’s lame. The plow does that to our driveway too but neither the Forester nor the Tacoma mind going through it.

That pipe would get my outback stuck. If I was in a Taco or full size truck I could probably coax it through but there is so much solid ice chunks there would be risk of some light body damage.

That’s not a bad idea. Now I wish I lived in an area with enough snow to attempt

I have a blower but not that size. Those ice chunks would probably break my blower. They are like basket ball and bigger sized.

I have to take it VERY slow tho. It’s a tough blower, but has its limits.

I literally snow rally twice a day. Imagine 1.5 miles of snow and ice covered twisty road to slide up and down on, very fun.

Buy Outback XT. Never shovel again. Plus get wooshy turbo noises

Maybe I can find one off the newer turbo foresters, the Outback xt is getting a bit old for my taste.
