The first time I drove my car I knew it needed a short throw shifter. So the mod list started on the initial test drive. Also the rear of the car seems bare so I’d like to ad an M3 truck spoiler. And now while browsing e90 YouTube videos I found out I can easily upgrade my halos. Just replace the factory halogen bulbs with some LEDs. I’ll probably wait until one of the factory bulbs burns out, but man what a difference.
Stock H8 bulbs on the left, aftermarket LEDs on the right.

Worth going to LED, did it on my E39. But make sure it has some kind of resister or it might register as a light out

What brand did you go with. I’ve toyed with this but it’s like the lights are either super cheap which worries me, or crazy expensive and I’m like eh fuck it.

I went cheap and have been fairly happy with them. I got those about 2 years ago . I think they were DT-Motos but I dont think its a specific to them as i have seen them as Xtune as well, basically Ebay specials (link to them) . I got them because the stock head lights were broken beyond repair and I wasnt willing to pay $600 for the Hellas. When we pulled the old ones out, the adjusters and other pieces were just rattling inside (great BMW plastic). Plus the sun fading was some of the worst I have ever seen.
Faded, looks better than they actually did
About 6 months in. Im surprised I dont have one more recent with out the dented hood.

Yep those look to be right and ECS is probably the best place to get them. The only thing I wish about ECS is that there were more reviews on products but that is more on the customers.
