Where exactly is the line between “under control” and “out of control?” Because I’m pretty sure most of these clips are doing burnouts on it.

The Group B times were being eclipsed by the mid 90s. Group B was a horsepower race, with little attention devoted to anything else. Which meant their handling was kinda awful, as was the suspension and its ability to handle bumps and jumps. When Group B ended teams had to look to these other, long neglected areas to find an edge. Technology progressed rapidly and it was only a matter of time before the less powerful but better handling cars started beating Group B records. Today’s cars are minutes faster
