Going to check it out Friday after work. Some tour/unveiling thing at my local Ducati dealer. They’re also going to have the Multi 1260, Scrambler 1100, and 959 Corse. Anything you guys want to know?

This is being put on by Ducati themselves, not the dealer, so there is an outside chance they might have the answers. Not going to hold my breath, but it’s worth asking.

From the vids I watched the exhaust kinda sounds like the twins, since the firing order is set for two cylinders to fire at the same time. See if the demo bike has a Termi exhaust on it, and how much of a difference that makes.

well then, that might change things around.

that being said, I still wouldnt hold my breath. Most of the tours and stuff are held by people who are local here. they didnt send a rep from italy to talk to you about it.

True. But since my dealer is one of the best, maybe, just maybe, there is a slightly higher chance of someone knowing something. Everyone who works there rides and is an enthusiast so I could see them going above and beyond to get information. Guess I’ll find out Friday either way! Honestly I don’t really care that much, I just want to hear the damn thing.

I read somewhere that Ducati is planning a 1000 cc version of the v4 to be announced sometime soon....

Oh sure but the V4 is shiny and new! Plus, what’s the point of the 1100 when it only makes an extra 10ish horsepower over the 800? Obviously the answer to that question is 200+hp!
