I love how fast food ads from the 1950s into sometime in the 1980s were always aimed at giving middle class women an easy dinner to serve their family once in a while, when they didn’t have time to cook, and always focused on cleanliness and quality.

I can’t pinpoint exactly when they stopped advertising themselves that way, but it was a pretty abrupt change.
