How are y’all doing this Sunday? How’s life and driving and all that? I found this BMW and it made my day.
Credit to HFV has an Average 3 for !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! that reminded me to go take a picture of the E36/90 combo. I should be appalled but I’m actually pretty impressed instead.

Can’t decide what I like more - the rattle can paint or the fit of the hood/grille.
Kill it with fire.

I guess this is a testament to how little BMW has changed their design language

No. Not fire. Fire would be too good.
It deserves to be stanced.

With overfenders on the back and flares on the front this would nearly be tolerable

This is a weird car for me to look at.
It’s like, yeah, it’s got an E90 bumper, but why stop there?? This could be some kind of fusion of various BMWs, maybe with the wing from the “Batmobile” 3.0CS and the V10 M6's powertrain. Style 162 wheels would be a great finishing touch.

I think it’s being let down by keeping the stock width. E36's always look skinny as it is so putting that bumper on exacerbates the issue. It’d look better by slapping much lower offset wheels and/or spacers on there.
Maybe some type 32's

YES!
Skinny cars are the best candidates for widening:

Did you see the new A4 which was revealed a couple months ago?
