Moses didn’t die for this

Think he died from old age, or overacting ... but maybe he likes asparagus?

Hey, until they open a store called Honeybaked Brisket, what are you gonna do?

Doing tacos tonight. What I really want is to shovel burgers into my face until I pass out, but that would be expensive.

Clam chowder and beers at https://www.laconnerbrewery.com/ . Interestingly their Schwartz Bier is quite tasty, (even if the chowder isn’t going to pass dietary laws - but it is d@mn good, kinda spicy.)

Roast beef, baked potato, steamed broccoli, and then whatever snacks I select at the theater.

Well he led you guys to a land flowing with milk and honey. So, if this is a honey ham, maybe you’re kinda following the rules?

Honey and mustard, but I haven’t seen any returns from the land the Hebrews got ... and I understand it isn’t that safe. And bombs are something I can do without at this point ....

L’chaim!

Hey, I’m a Christian. Jewish dietary laws are respected, but optional for us :D

I have to wonder if when Jesus drove all the demons out of the crazy man in the form of pigs, the disciples were like “Uhhh...hold up, those look delicious.”

And so began the great dietary schism of Judeo-Christian doctrine.

Next up: Fishing was slim today, but we did catch some clams...

I’m not working tonight and so have been catching up on some sleep and haven’t eaten this evening.

I couldn’t be any religion that didn’t allow me to eat pork/ham, as it is I’m atheist so ye’, I don’t let any religion forbid me anything.

Are you just cooking it or are you eating it too?

If your just cooking it, your being a good host, just like David Mitchell is explaining to Simon Web below.

I was 9 years old, and my buddy’s grandma made us a sandwich and cut it in half. “What is it?” I asked.

“A BLT,” she said. “You’ll like it.”

I realized at that point that I was never going back. Thank you Grandma Ferguson.

Culturally Jewish, but an atheist to the core. And yeah ... I will eat it. And put it into an omelet in the morning. And some sammiches next week. Two pound ham makes a lot of meals for a family of two ...

Glad to hear it.

Enjoy mate.

I’ve now got a craving for a ham and egg or ham and cheese sandwich.

That’s like a crackhead’s testimonial, but with bacon. That’s supposed to be the most addictive stuff out there. And crack is no pushover.

I’m having a club-sandwich-style cheeseburger with onion rings, and my partner is having biscuits and gravy and a ham steak.

A few months later, I recall going to Ledo’s Pizza (a must if you’re in or around DC) with a bunch of pals and one of their moms and discovering bacon pizza. Rectangular pie, thin crust, and pre-cooked bacon. I still get it when I go down there.

I see your point. Although the folks who are still taking old Moses up on the offer seem to be hanging in there. They’re a pretty tough lot. He called them a “stiff necked people”, and didn’t mean it as a compliment, if I remember, but sometimes that works in their favor.

A meal shared with loved ones is always a good thing. Hope yours turned out well.

I had sushi for dinner, and then I went to an excellent concert, and then I went for a nice drive on quiet nighttime streets, and then I had some late night drinks and snacks at home and you taught me some important theology. Good night all around.

First 4 eps and they barely used her, but it gets better. Have a feeling she did most of those stunts.
