I came out to Denver for a few days when I was looking for a place to live. This was pre-Turo/Uber/Lyft/light rail. No idea what was going on that week but there were like 3 rental cars left in the city and they wanted $1600 for a Chevy Aveo. Yeah...I’d rather walk.

With some places it’s nice feature. Last time I rented a car I had the choice between a Chevy Cruze, Hyundai Sonata, Ford Fusion, or Chrysler 200. They just said “go to row 8 pick a car keys are in the driver’s seat.” Or someth8n to that effect. I ended up picking the Curze just because I’d driven all the other ones before

Thanks! I was worried it wouldn’t be enough space for J and I but I think we can make it work. Coming up for a wedding in Payson tomorrow and out first thing Sunday. Quick trip this weekend.

My mind is still blown by how expensive rental cars are in SLC. I could fly into other cities, do a one-way rental, and fly out of SLC and save considerable money, it’s that crazy there.

Rented a car in SLC last week (my first visit there) and was shocked at the prices. Ended up with a Corolla just because I was only driving to Ogden and then the car was going to stay in the hotel lot for two days.

Yeah I usually have good luck with National or Hertz. I was just browsing Budget because I remember them having some FiST in their fleet last year. I booked a backup car at national just in case.
