I am in no way endorsing this listing, but hey. I’ve had two of these back to back, starting in 2009 and obviously I’m a fan. This is the lowest-mileage example I’ve seen in years, and looks to be clean, straight, etc, at least from the pictures. Anyway , manual AWD straight six wagon!

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

The biggest hurdle I see here is the probable lack of service records. One owner though... maybe they got them. If it checked out, I’d talk them down to $5k from $6k and leave quite happy. Put aside $1000 for some PM in the first year. These are pretty easy to work on and literally everything has been documented on the web by now.

What’s funny is my first one of these was black. I really confused some people when I bought a blue one - I’d love to get another black one haha. But I think my wife would kill me, we already have three cars; four if you count the truck.

ETA: kinja seems to remove the link... sometimes.

94k original miles

CP, I like my miles to be unoriginal.

I was going to say CP until I got to the interior pics. NP was the original owner a ghost? Because those seats don’t look like they’ve ever had an ass in them.

I know! I mean, I bought my current one with 120k, but it had evidence of use. Since then, I’ve been daily driving it with two small kids in the back. You might say my interior is... less than perfect.

And I also say NP because every other one of those I see for sale has 175k and rust, and it’s $2-3k.

DO IT!

No seriously, I’d be looking at it if my car were in any worse condition than it is, which is to say mine is totally fine. And a better color.

Pls no. Have mercy.

I’m in college. I can’t afford multiple cars.

Now, if it were a pre-LCI 323iT with lower miles, I’d probably sell my kidney for it.

Looks they took the picture after the first couple of miles. Just to use them now. That’s probably not what happened, but sure looks like it.

More than once I’ve taken a bunch of pics of cars I’m selling right at the car wash or whatever, after detailing.... just so there’s NO dirt and also not pictures of my house.

I would fear the potential rust on the east coast, not to mention the 3k+ mile journey home.

Well, yeah. I wouldn’t quite hop in it for a 3k mile trip either haha. An on-lift inspection would be key here, for rust. My ‘03 is pretty clean, though, with almost twice the mileage. Relatively speaking, I suppose.

This is why I am glad I don’t have a giant barn. Because I would buy this car and keep it for when my blue one dies. I am not even slightly joking.

I think we should build you a giant barn.

I’m actually trying to build this:

https://www.thegarageplanshop.com/051g-0063.php

basically a 3-car garage with one double-wide door and an outside covered port for a 4th car or whatever is deemed unworthy of fully enclosed space. Because we already have 4 cars, if you count the truck. Which I kind of do, because it needs a place to be over the winter that’s out of the weather... mostly. So yeah.
